About
Lyra Sorene used to perform for thousands. Now she's singing in half-empty bars and trying to forget the life she left behind. Until two strangers offer her a way out, she finds herself pulled into a traveling troupe unlike anything she's known, and toward connections that may have begun long before they met.
The Ecco Veil is an evolving series of interconnected stories about love, loss, found family, and the connections that seem to follow us across time. Music lives at the heart of the series, with an original soundtrack created alongside the story to give its characters and defining moments a voice beyond the page. Each episode reveals another piece of a larger world where the unexplained feels just close enough to touch, and some connections may begin long before two people ever meet.

Just a guy with stories...
Sometimes I care too much. Sometimes I notice everything, and sometimes I notice nothing at all. But I’ve always felt things deeply. Rather than carry all of that around with me, I started writing. What began as something almost therapeutic turned into something I never expected.You know when you wake up with a song stuck in your head, but you can’t remember what it is? You search through a thousand songs trying to find it because somehow you need to hear the rest. That’s what The Ecco Veil has become for me. A story that keeps living, changing, and revealing more of itself as I write it. I’m still discovering where it leads. I hope you enjoy finding out with me.
I’m based in Texas, where I write, create music, and occasionally wonder how one story turned into an entire universe. When I’m not working on The Ecco Veil, I’m usually creating something else, chasing another idea, or just living enough life to find the next story.
